Hey Guys! Can you believe that this is the last week of January 2020? I don’t know about you, but this year is flying by for me. It seems like the older I get the faster time flies – and not always because I’m having fun. Today as I was watching a few minutes of the Pro-Bowl I saw something shocking in the news ticker pop up. As I’m sure you’ve heard – Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash, along with one of his daughters and 3 others. It seemed unreal to think that this man who seemingly willed himself to greatness from a young age was gone, just like that, in the blink of an eye. My heart and prayers go out to the Bryant family.

As tragic as his passing is it reminds me of the old statement that “death is no respecter of persons”. Rich and famous, poor and forgotten, young and old, sick and healthy, death will come for everyone of us. I’m not wanting to drag you down, quite the opposite – I want to encourage you to make the most of every moment – to live your life today with purpose and intentionality – to live the legacy you are wanting to leave each and every day! Only God knows the number of our days – so Legacy Men – let us purpose to use each breath He gives us wisely and for His glory.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

Have a great week!

In Christ – Cary
